What makes a Lost File

These files have been sitting in our archives for years. Most were forced off the internet when their original pages disappeared. A few have resurfaced on pirate message boards or in private chats, but most have stayed lost—until now.

How rarity works

Before we release a file, we’ll check whether it can still be found anywhere and give it a rarity rating:

Uncommon
Not publicly available, but found on some pirate boards that are easy to join.
Rare
Not publicly available, but found on hard to find private pirate boards.
Legendary
Not publicly available and not found on pirate boards. As far as we can tell, these are truly lost files.

We’ll lean toward Rare and Legendary files, with the occasional cool Uncommon when it deserves a spot.

How it works

What you’re getting

Every month, three winning factions will each receive about 8–12 files — roughly 24–36 files total: alternate sculpts, parts and bits, unique characters, and faction-related models or vehicles. They are not 3D scans or 1:1 sculpts.

Lost Files is a blind-box event on purpose: you vote for the factions, not the individual files. The surprise is part of the fun.

This is meant to be a fun way to support the repo, especially for people who want to build unique and interesting factions.

The monthly schedule

Voting stays open throughout the month. We’ll reveal the three winning factions around the 20th, then release their files during the last week of the month.
